PARTNER/VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

Two of Good Sam’s Core Values are “Engaging the Community” and “Practicing Good Stewardship”. Fulfilling both, Good Sam actively engages the community for partnership and volunteer opportunities. Our partners and volunteers are invaluable in providing resources and compassionately serving our community by providing food assistance for our neighbors experiencing hunger and food insecurity.

If you are interested in exploring opportunities to help Good Sam help others, we invite you to first take a tour of our facility. The tour gives you an opportunity to see the ‘big picture’ of how we help others and offers insight into matching your gifts and abilities with current needs. To schedule the tour, please complete the “Volunteer Interest” form and you will be contacted within 48-72 hours. Volunteer Opportunities:

Flexible volunteer shifts available Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We are closed Saturday and Sunday and unable to offer week-end volunteer opportunities at this time.

Welcome Room – Check in our guests, assist guests with registration, and assist guests to their car with cart as needed. Bilingual Spanish volunteers also needed to assist with translation.

Kitchen – Prepare carts with food for our guests and stock shelves with the day’s food donations from our retail partners.

Pantry – Prepare dry goods boxes and produce bags, unload deliveries, stock shelves, refrigerators, and freezers with the day’s deliveries, and end of day clean up.
